David Watkins is Founder and CEO of MPC Studios in McAllen and Harlingen Texas. MPC was created in 1998 with the goal of providing custom website design, application development, Internet marketing and traditional advertising agency services to businesses in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. 15 years later, MPC is known as one of the leading custom web development and advertising agencies in Texas, providing service to more than 100 clients in healthcare, manufacturing, education, economic development, tourism and retail. Prior to the required stability of business ownership, Watkins taught marketing and technology in Harlingen and history on Maui, was the morning radio DJ on Kauai and the morning TV news producer at KGBT, sold pineapples in Waikiki and TVs in Portland, ran the ski lift in Cloudcroft and packed the dance floor in Las Cruces, dynamited trails in the Gila, rounded cattle in the Panhandle and studied in the Netherlands. He's surfed, snow skied, skydived, scuba dived, cliff dived, and rafted the Grand Canyon. He's been shot at twice, and was once thrown from a runaway horse.
